Hawzah News Agency- Addressing a press conference in Abuja, Professor Abdullahi Danladi, Chairman of the IMN's Resource Forum, delivered a powerful tribute to the martyred Leader, stating that the condolence message was being issued ahead of the burial ceremony scheduled for July 9, following the conclusion of grand commemorative events in both the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Iraq.

Professor Danladi emphasized that the martyrdom of great scholars and leaders who remain steadfast to their principles and ideals does not merely create a vacuum in the realm of leadership—it leaves behind a profound void in morality and knowledge within society.
"Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei dedicated his entire life to the service of Islam, the pursuit of justice, and the defense of the dignity and independence of the Iranian nation," Danladi stated.
He continued: "For more than three decades, Sayyed Ali Khamenei steered the Islamic Republic of Iran through the most challenging political, economic, and military circumstances. Despite crippling sanctions, relentless threats, and immense foreign pressure, he remained unshaken in his convictions and ideals, defending what he believed to be the rights of his own people and the oppressed nations of the world."
A Leader Whose Legacy Transcends Borders
The IMN official underscored that the courage, determination, and resilience of Ayatollah Sayyed Khamenei in walking the path of truth earned him a level of respect and reverence that extended far beyond the borders of Iran, resonating deeply across the Global South and the broader Islamic world.
"History does not remember leaders merely for the positions they held, but for the causes for which they stood," Danladi remarked. He stressed that nations across the world will remember Sayyed Ali Khamenei as a towering symbol of resistance, an unyielding opponent of hegemony and domination, and a firm believer in the capacity of Islam to guide societies in confronting the complex challenges of the contemporary world.
Faith in Divine Decree, Gratitude for a Life of Service
Citing verse 185 of Surah Aal-e-Imran—"Every soul shall taste death"—Professor Danladi reminded Muslims that death is an inevitable destiny for all of humanity. However, he stressed that what truly distinguishes a human being is not the moment of death, but the values by which they lived and the righteous legacy they leave behind.
"As much as we loved Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, Allah loves him more than we do. Therefore, we submit to the divine decree with patience, faith, and complete surrender," he declared.
Condolences to the Leader, the Iranian Nation, and the Oppressed of the World
Danladi extended his heartfelt condolences to the new Leadership and the noble people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the bereaved family of the martyr, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky—the revered leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria—the entire global Islamic Ummah, and all those across the world who have drawn inspiration from the life and leadership of Sayyed Khamenei.
